With Wildlife Management Areas (WMA) spanning the state, there is no shortage of public access to hunting, fishing and other outdoor recreational activities in the state of Georgia. Georgia is host to a multitude of wildlife and timberland conducive to successful hunting. With more than 90 huntable tracts of WMAs, there is at least one WMA within an hour of you.
With three major rivers, four major lakes, and over one million acres of hunting land, there is certainly no shortage of hunting and fishing opportunities. Land in Georgia, not unlike land in Alabama, will also give the owner a return on investment.
Hunting and fishing are not the only outdoor recreational activities Georgia has to offer. Georgia is also home to National Parks, State Parks, and 76.4 miles of the Appalachian Trail. If hunting and fishing aren’t your forte, the Georgia landscape will let you try your hand at just about anything else.
Kayaking, camping, backpacking, canoeing, hiking, biking (road or mountain), or maybe just building a fire to roast some s’mores; land in Georgia is what you’ve been looking for to start making your outdoor dreams into outdoor memories.
